Chris was very helpful in putting us at ease with the process, and was always available to chat to help us with areas that we were unsure about. A massive area of value, that we perhaps didn’t anticipate, was the ease of sale. Being able to have a transparent conversation with the Buyer, removed a lot of the stress from the sales process. There was none of the guesswork that goes with an agent who is secretive around price, and all the stress that goes with it. We were able to be up-front with where we needed to be (take it or leave it), and sold at a rate that an agent told us would be unobtainable, since the market dropped. Having built a relationship with the Buyer, also helped significantly through the 10 day process when the sale was conditional, as we were able to directly communicate around difficult areas, opposed to having to go through the solicitor. HomeSell placed our advertisement on TradeMe on Friday 4th September with our first open home on the following Sunday. By late Friday afternoon we had had 4 people view our home and 3 of these made conditional verbal offers. By Tuesday we had accepted an offer and the deposit was in our lawyers account.
